Datalogic, USA Inc. R&D Software Development Engineer in Hatfield, Pennsylvania

Participates in the development of software for products, including, but not limited to, dimensioning systems and industrial cameras and controllers.Core duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop software to support new product or feature development.
  • Work cross functionally on product development.
  • Create documentation to support software development work in the creation of product solutions.
  • Support and initiate demonstrations of software functionality.

  • Collaborate with peers as a member of the R&D team.

     

*Minimum Requirements:  *Bachelor's degree, or a foreign academic equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering;and 1 year of experience as a Software Developer or R&D Computer Vision Engineer. Experience to include the following skills:

 

  • Embedded Linux systems.
  • C/C++ programming and debugging in an embedded environment with and without an emulator.
  • Real Time operating systems.
  • Interfacing with other functions (hardware, test, etc.) throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Network programming and protocols.
