Job Overview

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide on-site support by maintaining and repairing all Komatsu equipment using both Mechanical and Welding applications in a shop or field environment. We are offering a sign on bonus up to $10,000 for this position.

Key Job Responsibilities

Provide maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy construction equipment in the field.

Complete all work in a safe, professional, and timely manner.

Document machine information and repairs in the work order system.

Maintain a clean work area and professional care of all machines, equipment, and tools.

Identify and communicate additional repair and maintenance opportunities to management to increase customer uptime.

Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold by the dealership.

Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.

Follow all safety policies and procedures while performing work assignments.

Conduct self in the presence of customers, suppliers, and the community in a professional manner.

Participate in department and company meetings and provide input on continuous improvement opportunities to drive internal and external customer satisfaction.

Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer support.

Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Qualifications/Requirements

High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree)

Technical School/Technical College or related work experience.

Proficiency in mechanical & electrical systems (engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical, emissions components).

Good computer skills.

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Excellent customer service skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Maintain a sufficient tool inventory to perform assigned tasks.

CDL required for Field Service Technicians.
