Fantastic Sams Cut & Color of Minnesota Salon Receptionist - Hastings in Hastings, Minnesota

Fantastic Sams is looking to hire a Receptionist for the Hastings salon. The Receptionist will be the first person that our guest will see. In this position you will be responsible for making sure the guest is checked in properly and making sure our guest is comfortable while waiting for their service to be started. We are looking to hire an individual in Cosmetology School with 3 months or more longer before graduation.

  • Has a passion for guest service

  • Can be assertive and confident when helping guests

  • Is a creative thinker to help with in-salon promotions

  • Is organized and calm during busy periods

  • Has high energy 

    SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Age 18 or older with a high school diploma or a GED

  • Experience working with the public

  • Able to work on nights and weekends

  • Able to move quickly and be efficient 

    RECEPTIONIST TASKS WILL BE

  • Greet guest as they enter the salon and check them in to our system.

  • Answer the salon phone

  • Accurately estimate wait times

  • Ensure waiting guests are comfortable

  • Help with laundry, inventory, supplies, and cleaning as needed with the focus on guest experience and stylist efficiency

  • Develop and maintain in-salon promotional materials and retail display
