Job Title: Engineering Technician

Job Description

Join our team in West Michigan as an Engineering Technician, dedicated to supporting the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our presses that have been a hallmark of our operations for over a century. With over 200,000 presses in use across the United States, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the continued satisfaction and success of our customers. This position requires on-site work at our facility in Hastings, where you will directly troubleshoot and repair presses. Additionally, you will communicate with customers to identify and address any concerns, determining necessary repairs, changes, or modifications to the presses.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical Aptitude - Machining, Repairing, Troubleshooting or Building Machines (Preventative Maintenance)

  • Blueprint Reading

  • Press Repair, Tear Down, or Troubleshooting Environment Experience

Soft Skills

  • Effective Communication

Work Environment

Our company, with approximately 150 employees, operates in an older building with a plant floor that can be dirty. Work hours are set from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Candidates must possess steel toe/safety toe shoes.
