The Millennium Group Mail Processing Clerk( will have local driving responsibilities for pick up and deliveries) in Hartsville, South Carolina

Duties:

  • Execute scheduled daily runs

  • Collect mail items or packages that need to be sent out

  • Deliver all inbound mail/parcels to clients end-users

  • Provide customer services to all levels of personnel

  • Provide receptionist coverage and facilities support as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and deliver all incoming mail & packages according to assigned floors and within established time

frames.

  • Wrap, seal, weigh, affix postage and dispatch all outgoing mail/packages in accordance with postal regulations

  • Prepare special outgoing inter-office pouches sent to client affiliates as scheduled

  • Keep work area clean and orderly

  • Package and process outgoing overnight items, Federal Express, UPS, etc., to meet client and vendor deadlines.

  • Deliver incoming overnight packages within established time frames

  • Do fulfillments orders (pull, pick, pack, seal, and process).

  • Log outgoing and incoming items as required and review for accuracy/completeness

  • Interfaces with the client contact when required

  • Keeps manager informed of operational efficiencies and potential problems

  • Answer incoming calls and take message for receptionist during lunch breaks

  • Execute warehouse run weekly using company vehicle.

Requirements: (Must have)

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

  • Must have valid driver license and clean DL.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or citizen of a U.S. territory.

  • Must be able to pass a drug test, as well as a background check and medical assessment.

Skills:

  • Experience using mail equipment and UPS/FedEx shipping tools is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Computer literate; proficient using Microsoft Suite(Outlook, Email, Word, and Excel) is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Be able to drive a cargo van and/or box truck.

Physical requirements;

  • May lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

  • Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or

standing.
