Superior Home Services, Inc. Appliance Service Technician in Hartland, Michigan

Michigan Appliance Repair, a division of Superior Home Services, Inc., offers in-home appliance repair and preventative maintenance throughout Michigan's lower peninsula. We are looking for Appliance Repair Technicians in South East and Mid Michigan.

This position is right for you if you are organized, responsible, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Paid training is provided, no experience is required. After the paid training period, technicians work remotely starting and ending their day at home.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travel between customer's residences within specified service area in company provided vehicle.
  • Use tools and instruments to accurately troubleshoot and repair residential appliances.
  • Research, request, and check in parts and materials.
  • Complete work orders on company issued tablet.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering customer questions and recommending service.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Pass a drug screen and criminal background check
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
