Description:

Position Purpose : Under the direction of the Service Line Executive Director, the Practice Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the practice and performing a variety of administrative functions related to the practice operations.

What you will do:

  • Under the leadership of the Service Line Executive Director, the Practice Supervisor directly supervises support staff and all functions related to patient flow.

  • Ensures daily rounding is performed to enable smooth patient flow.

  • Coordinates staff within assigned practices to ensure proper coverage for quality patient care.

  • Monitors attendance for all practice employees. Addresses concerns in a timely manner.

  • Identifies office inefficiencies and proposes solutions.

  • Responsible for customer service and productivity standards within the assigned practices. Ensures that the Practice Manager is informed of issues in a timely fashion.

  • Collaborates with the Service Line Director in all hiring decisions and employee performance management.

  • Ensures all equipment is maintained and inventories are at appropriate levels for the practice needs.

  • Orients all new hires to practice office procedures and ensures access and training to systems as needed.

  • Ensures staff adherence to policies and procedures, compliance, risk management and HIPPA requirements.

  • Attendance is in accordance with departmental needs and organizational policies.

      

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, Associate’s Degree Preferred

  • Two + years’ experience in an outpatient office environment; 1+ year supervisory/managerial experience is preferred.

  • Proven experience in all aspects of a medical practice.

  • Excellent organization and communication skills required.

  • Proficient use of computers and electronic medical record.

  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with all levels within the organization.
