Description:
Come lead our teams in the Retail and Ambulatory Care Pharmacy areas of Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!
Position Purpose
We are looking for a progressive individual to oversee our growing Retail and Ambulatory Care services. Our Ambulatory Care program is comprised of pharmacists working under collaborative practice agreements in our primary care, specialty and anticoagulation management services. Our two retail pharmacies proudly provide services to patients in our community, those being discharged from the hospital and supports our primary care and specialty clinics on two campuses.
What you will do
Provide management oversight to the retail pharmacies within the Hartford Market
Oversee the development and implementation of ambulatory and clinical specialty pharmacy strategic initiatives that are designed to enhance quality/outcomes, improve member service and enhance cost effectiveness
Identify and implement the use of appropriate metrics consistently across the System to measure quality outcomes that will allow the development of performance improvement activities
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
Ensure the financial performance of ambulatory care and retail pharmacy programs
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program. Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. Five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership in Ambulatory Care pharmacy. Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.
PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency training or 10 years of Ambulatory Care experience required.
Current license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Connecticut or be eligible to apply for the license within 30 days of hire
