Insight Global IT Project Manager - Common Payments in Hartford, Connecticut
Job Description
An employer is seeking an IT Project Manager to join their team based in Hartford, CT. This will be a remote position, however may require infrequent travel to Hartford for necessary all-hands meetings or trainings. This position is open due to a new upcoming project to build out a Common Payments system across the enterprise. The intention is that the Common Payments system will be an enterprise portal or gateway consumable by all applicable agencies and departments in Connecticut for citizens to make and process payments. By creating and using an enterprise portal, the idea is to have the experience for completing payments be the same across the entire enterprise. The IT Project Manager will be coming on at the beginning of the project, and will be supporting the project team to identify and prioritize deliverables, run project planning, resource and budget allocation, and other related project management duties. For this new system build out, there will be aspects necessary for reporting and reconciliation that will need to be built into the system. This IT Project Manager will be responsible for driving this project from concept through completion for this new system build out as well as the integrations of this Common Payments portal with various websites and related technologies. This person will work closely with stakeholders as well as technical project team resources including developers and architects, so should have exemplary communication skills with both technical and business acumens.

7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager
Previously supported an integration project
Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, or related technology
Expertise supporting large scale technical projects from concept through creation Previous experience working on a project for a payment system build out or enhancement null
