Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, and in fabricating metal parts and tools by performing the following duties Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery Requisitions and keeps supply of spare parts Modifies programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers Studies productions schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment Enforces safety compliance by ensuring the proper training is given in OSHA mandated regulations such as Lock Out/Tag Out, welding safety, electrical safety, etc.; will also ensure compliance with Company safety rules and regulations and will offer training on a monthly basis on various safety topics Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties accordingly Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet productions schedules Requirements: Experience running a Maintenance department in a manufacturing setting is required. Minimum 5 years. Must have strong leadership competencies. Bachelors degree is a plus.
