Corporate Hiring Solutions School Physician in HARRISON, New York

Location: Harrison, NY, United StatesOverview:Corporate Hiring Solutions is seeking a licensed Medical Doctor to serve as the School Physician. The School Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to students, faculty, and staff within the designated institution. This position requires a commitment to promoting the health and well-being of the organization's community, adhering to relevant medical standards and regulations, and collaborating closely with corporate administration and healthcare personnel.Key Responsibilities:Conduct yearly physical examinations on students who have not received a physical from their own physician within the school year, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.Perform school sports physicals prior to each sports season, coordinating with the Director of Physical Education, Health & Athletics to schedule appointments and ensure timely completion.Review and update school health policies annually, advising the district on the establishment of new policies related to student health.Provide medical oversight and supervision for home field football games, ensuring the safety and well-being of student-athletes during athletic events.Conduct reviews of employee health questionnaires and refer employees for further examination as necessary.Interpret results of ImPACT testing for students with head injuries, reviewing physician evaluations and authorizations to determine readiness for return to play and/or learning.Collaborate with school nurses and health assistants to provide training and professional development on health-related topics as needed.Serve as a consultant to relevant district committees, providing medical expertise and guidance on health-related matters.Consult with parents regarding health concerns related to school health policies and student well-being.Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for students and staff, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.Qualifications:Medical Doctor (MD) license in good standing.Experience and expertise in providing medical services, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff.Commitment to promoting health equity, diversity, and inclusion within the school community.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities in a dynamic school setting.Working Hours:Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding designated institution holidays.Salary: $118 - $130 (Per Hour)Application Process:To apply for the position of School Physician, please submit a resume, cover letter, and three professional references to Corporate Hiring Solutions.Corporate Hiring Solutions Contact Information:Phone: +1 (631) 560-2838Website: www.Cohires.comEmail: adminteam@cohires.comNote:This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not exhaustive.
