Clare County Fair Grounds/Maintenance Worker in Harrison, Michigan

Clare County Agricultural Society (Clare County Fair Grounds) has a full time/seasonal (April-Mid-November) opportunity for a Grounds/Maintenance Worker.

Job Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform tasks such as landscaping, cultivating lawns, pruning trees and shrubs.
  • Operate vehicles or powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.
  • Gather and remove litter.
  • Use of hand tools, shovels, rakes, hedge or brush trimmers and axes.
  • Lawn and building maintenance. Water lawns, trees or plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools used in construction or repair of buildings or structures.
