Job Summary

The Transformative Services Principal Architect is responsible for providing expert advice, planning, design, and implementation support for transformative services within client organizations. This role guides the development and execution of an enterprise-wide transformative strategy, aligning business objectives with strategy and technology solutions. The consultant collaborates closely with the client and other consultants to ensure that the strategy and overall architecture of the transformative services supports and enhances business operations.

This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges and develop transformative service strategies that align with their goals.

  • Work with subject matter experts to design, architect, and oversee the implementation of solutions that transform and optimize business processes.

  • Analyze the business requirements of various departments within a client's organization to determine their technology needs.

  • Guide client teams on the selection, implementation, and use of technologies that will best meet the business's needs.

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the client's teams, ensuring the solutions align with the strategic plans and meet the defined objectives.

  • Developing transformational roadmaps and overseeing the implementation of transformative programs, ensuring they deliver on the defined goals and objectives.

  • Evaluate and recommend systems and infrastructure in alignment with the transformative services strategy.

  • Define and enforce best practices for enterprise architecture within the client's organization.

  • Prepare architectural frameworks, models and reports for executive review.

  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in transformative services to provide the best advice and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be an added advantage.

  • 7+ years experience as an Enterprise Architect, with expertise in transformative type programs of work (Digital transformation, M&A, etc.)

  • Excellent understanding of transformative technologies and digital solutions within F1000 organizations.

  • Exceptional project management and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience of interacting with senior executives.

  • Proficiency with modeling and diagramming tools, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and research skills

  • Receptive listening skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Keen eye in identifying areas for modification in existing programs and the ability to subsequently develop identified modifications

  • Ability to develop new systems or work to update or improve current systems

  • Excellent writing skills to produce written reports of recommendations, metrics, project management, processes, and technical documentation

  • Define objectives, identify and evaluate trends and options, choose a course of action, and evaluate outcomes

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to develop and manage mentoring relationships by building trust, setting goals, and keeping the relationships on track

  • Ability to clearly define roles and responsibilities, establish short- and long-term goals, use open and supportive communication, and collaboratively solve problems

  • ITIL certification

  • Six Sigma

  • FinOps

Unique Requirements

  • Able to travel up to 25%

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
