DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your technical expertise to create and update construction and material specifications. You will also play a crucial role in interpreting and offering guidance on specifications, special provisions, and measurement and payment items. Furthermore, you will conduct quality control reviews of contract bid documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will actively support the establishment, maintenance, and review of specifications, special provisions, and pay items to ensure their effectiveness and adherence to standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or
Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or
Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
