I. Job Summary

Manage and support WMRE with management of complex projects. Critical tasks to include the planning, bidding, scheduling and execution phases of the projects.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Determine and define scope of work and project deliverables

  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory requirements

  • Prepare project estimates and budgets based on project scope of work

  • Mange engineering team and drawing development

  • Provide direction over contracts and equipment vendors

  • Coordinate installation of utility interconnects to facility

  • Manage and communicate with internal resources to meet project objectives

  • Manage project costs, construction schedule, and activities

  • Manage bid processes, change orders, and processing payments

  • Issue project updates regarding costs and schedules

  • Assess project risks and manage throughout the project

  • Identify at risk project tasks and develop mitigation plans

  • Maintain process for filing project documents (electronic versions)

  • Coordinate project communication/calls and distributing meeting notes

  • Schedule and lead project commissioning activities

  • Manage project close out process and document control

  • Conduct post project evaluation/lessons learned

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise support staff, contract managers, and engineering/consultant team

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or in lieu of, HS Diploma or GED (accredited) and 5 years relevant experience

Experience: Five years previous relevant experience (in addition to education requirement)

  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe Professional, and general computer software

  • Demonstrate knowledge of construction, engineering, and building principles

  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs

  • Strong leadership, management skills, and communication skills

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

None required.

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Proficient in Procore and Primavera P6. Work with internal PMO with project scheduling and cost controls.

D. Travel

Must be willing and able to travel a minimum of 25%.

The salary range for this position is $111,500_ – $169,855_. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. I _n addition, this position is eligible for a annual incentive bonus.
