Job Summary

This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth while fostering strong client relationships with enterprise accounts. The role anticipates client requirements, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and uses consultative selling to identify opportunities aligned with the organization's capabilities. The role maintains a healthy sales pipeline, achieves revenue targets, and provides valuable feedback and insights to the internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and executes an Account Business Plan (ABP) that includes both transactional and strategic initiatives to grow HP's presence.

  • Builds strong professional working relationships with the client by leveraging executive sponsors and HP resources including key IT and business executives.

  • Uses a consultative-selling approach to identify and advance opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth for HP.

  • Advocates for client needs during sales cycle and in addressing any delivery issues.

  • Engages partners effectively to improve win rates and delivery of selected deals.

  • Engages and manages team members in presales, sales specialists and inside sales to support complex deals.

  • Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue & margin quotas. Uses margin management techniques.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 5-8 years account management experience and in consultative solution selling.

  • Leverages existing relationships and builds new relationships with executives in the business and in IT to become the trusted advisor.

  • Negotiates at the business manager and IT executive level.

  • Provides timely and accurate forecasts and continually coaches team to do same.

  • Resources and leads successful dedicated global virtual teams.

  • Demonstrates strong presentation and communication skills at the business manager level.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
