Vontier People Operations Intern in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

As a People Operations Intern, you will assist the People Operations team with key projects focused on talent acquisition and compliance. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and develop skills in talent acquisition, project management, and human resources management.

What you will do

Project Support:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of talent acquisition and compliance projects.

  • Help in researching and analyzing data for project reports.

  • Coordinate and monitor project schedules and timelines.

  • Support the HR team in developing project-related documentation and presentations

HR Functions:

  • Contribute to the improvement of HR systems and processes.

  • Support the HR team in daily administrative tasks.

  • Work collaboratively to schedule and coordinate interviews.

  • Ensure compliance with employment-related regulations, pay transparency and established policies and procedures.

Learning and Development:

  • Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced HR professionals.

  • Attend meetings to gain a broader understanding of HR functions.

  • Other duties as assigned, with or without accommodation.

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in or already achieved a Bachelor’s degree in business management or human resource management (or equivalent).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time-management skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The base compensation range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. Your actual hourly rate will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
