This is an exciting opportunity to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties, involving several trades in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various machinery, equipment, structures, and environs for Commonwealth buildings and equipment. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Repairman 1, you will be performing basic carpentry work, completing minor repairs and adjustments to small-motorized equipment, and assisting electricians in major electrical projects. You will be responsible for plumbing duties, preparing surfaces for painting, and performing general maintenance and cleaning duties associated with the general upkeep in and around the building. You will be required to report to work for snow and ice removal from building entrances, walkways, and steps.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. This position is considered essential. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Necessary Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
