DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Title - Machine Leaning Scientist Software Engineer

The Impact You'll Make in this Role: As a(n) Machine Learning Scientist/ Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by;  * Design, develop and evaluate data-driven models and analytical solutions for machine learning (ML) and/or natural language (NL) applications.  * Research and implement statistical approaches and novel ML approaches, in particular, deep learning techniques, generative AI, and other ML techniques to add value to the business.  * Implement automation processes to optimize the development, productive use and maintenance of ML solutions in the cloud

Your Skills and Expertise  * Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university AND four (4) years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment.

OR  * High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment.

AND In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:  * 2+ years of experience in programming and scripting languages like Python and Java.

 * 1+ years of experience with Unix environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:  * Masters degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.  * 2+ years of combined academic and industry research experience.  * Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning technologies and platforms such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, Apache Spark, and MLflow.  * Excellent software development experience and broad problem-solving skills in software engineering.  * Experience with DevOps tools such as Kubernetes and Docker as well as with cloud environments (primarily AWS).  * Ability to think creatively and solve challenging problems.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
