Please review the following job description:

Drive sales and build strong relationships with producers to generate revenue and meet sales quotas. Proactively calls agents and recruits new agents to build a book of business. Develops working relationships with producers, promoting agent recruiting and retention through sales ideas, marketing campaigns, illustrations and effective management and utilization of Crump resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Builds relationships with key producers to discuss complex sales concepts, marketing campaigns, and product information.

  2. Maintain and grow team sales goal in coordination with sales resources

  3. Proactive calling to all assigned agents to build territory

  4. Develop new business by recruiting new agents and growing existing agent groups to maximize revenue potential

  5. Partner with sales resources in all aspects of producer development.

  6. Be able to call on lower producing agents in a sales capacity.

  7. Maintain a proactive and supportive relationship with the sales, operations teams, the assigned group of agents, and solution centers.

  8. Develop expert knowledge of products, carriers, and Crump resources.

  9. Coordinate with sales team and producers to run complex and advanced illustrations consulting on creative solutions

  10. Effectively utilize company client management system to manage sales process

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience

  12. Excellent telephone etiquette skills

  13. Ability to display maturity, competitiveness, and a good work ethic

  14. Demonstrated knowledge of Insurance industry, life and other related insurance products and sales processes

  15. Possess basic knowledge of insurance underwriting

  16. Two years of work experience in the life insurance industry, with one year of experience in a sales support role

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Series 6 and State Insurance Licenses

  2. Understanding of sales concepts, illustrations, and the underwriting process
