Due to the nature of this position all candidates must be able to work direct for any employer without sponsorship.
Review and understand business data related ETL requirements for database, application and reporting projects.
Develop and make enhancement on new and existing data systems.
Participate in the development plans and resource estimation for task planning.
Assist with the development of logical data models.
Provide Production Support for Production applications.
Monitor production jobs and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
Partner with other IT areas in resolving issues and improving processes.
Strong Informatica and SQL skill set required.
Position typically requires 2-5 years of programming and related experience as outlined above
Design, develop, and support ETL processes using Informatica and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) tools.
Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing business application software, and production support for systems with medium complexity.
The incumbent must be capable of working at a broad technical level in all phases of the application systems project life-cycle, and must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to systems development
Licenses or Certifications:
- Certification in applicable areas; such as JAVA Developer, DB2 Certification, Cognos Certification
Work Experience to include:
Problem solving, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance Industry
Experience with technology platforms, application development tools, business processes, software development life cycle used by Highmark enterprise
