The PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center has an opportunity for you! We are in need of a reliable team member to help maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems at our facilities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will assist in the oversight of the system which provides heating and cooling to the Farm Show Complex using gas-fired hot water boilers, gas-fired hot air systems, heat pump and chilled water systems, and Direct Expansion (DX) air conditioning systems accessed manually or through the HVAC Building Automation Systems (BAS) computer controls. You will also supervise utility plant BAS Trainee and Tradesman Helper employees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Wednesday - Sunday, with 30-minute lunch during heating season. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday - Sunday, with 30-minute lunch during cooling season. Possible evening hours required based on show schedule. This position is considered essential. You will be required to report to work during emergencies and office closures. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Successful completion of the HVAC and Building Automation Technician trainee program (commonwealth title); or Three years of experience in the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, units, and equipment including one year working with commercial or industrial HVAC or refrigeration equipment and controls; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes one year working with commercial or industrial HVAC or refrigeration equipment and controls.

Special Requirements: All employees must obtain EPA Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification from an approved provider within 6 months of employment.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
