Job Description Summary:

We're looking for a Director of Solution & Customer Marketing to drive revenue growth and retention in our Data Modernization business.

Reporting to the Vice President of Solution & Customer Marketing as part of the Marketing Organization, and working closely with Product Management, Pipeline Growth, Sales and Customer Success, you will align the organization for a winning Go-to-Market strategy. More specifically, you will articulate and communicate solution value and represent the voice of the customer and market dynamics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the GTM Strategy as Foundation for Growth: Continuously analyze the market to identify opportunities for growth and accurately size segments with propensity to buy

  • Align the Business for Winning GTM Strategies: Build the go-to-market playbook and align the organization to market opportunity and target audiences

  • S harpen Insights to Attract & Engage Audiences: Lead the development and ongoing improvement of audience & persona frameworks and buyer journey maps to inform content strategy,demand and conversion programs

  • Develop Strategic Messaging: Craft strategic messaging, driven by competitive positioning, that articulates value to and resonates with target audience

  • Evolve High Impact Product Launch Strategy: Improve the impact of product launches with defined accountability and outcomes

  • Equip the Business: Work in strategic partnership across the business to enable the go-to-market and other business teams on market, plays, offers and other topics as fit

  • Accelerate Customer Value: Continuously improve customer marketing post-sale programs and campaigns that enable adoption, facilitate renewal, encourage cross-sell/ upsell and create advocacy

  • Build a Strategic Solution & Customer Marketing Function: Enable organization-wide customer focus with a highly strategic and market aligned solution and customer marketing team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years in B2B software solution or product marketing, experience in customer lifecycle marketing a plus

  • 5+ years leading teams and managing direct reports

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience

  • Experience marketing on-premises software to an IT audience, experience with Mainframe technology and distributed systems a plus

  • Demonstrated experience autonomously building and executing a plan to achieve a goal

  • Demonstrated experience building and leading a high performing team

  • Proven experience with cross-functional communication, facilitation and presentation delivery

  • Pragmatic Marketing, Product Marketing Alliance or other marketing certifications a plus

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

The base salary range for this role is $170,480.00 - $213,100.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
