The Labor and Industry Unemployment Compensation Board of Review Harrisburg Referee office is seeking a detail-oriented Clerical Assistant 3 with exceptional work ethic to join our team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will play a vital role in providing confidential clerical support to staff within the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review Harrisburg Referee office. Effective communication is key as you will be communicating on behalf of the Referee and serving as a receptionist as needed. Responsibilities include: Scheduling hearings and processing required notices Transcribing, preparing, and distributing decisions resulting from these hearings Maintaining required files of appeal cases and documents Preparing weekly production and backlog reports for assigned Referee Processing and distributing mail Processing required paperwork and data for cases Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Work hours may be negotiable within operational business hours. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
