MIG Welder wanted

Description:

  • From fabrication to final assembly, our client is a full manufacturing facility for asphalt maintenance equipment.

  • Our equipment heats, stores, transports, and applies all types of asphaltic material for maintaining the roadways.

  • Perform fabrication and welding operations for large hoppers and tanks, including leakproof processes, according to documented manufacturing procedures and prints.

  • Set up and operate Miller Axcess 40v wire feeder and Miller Axcess 300 pulse welder.

  • Weld the tank and hopper walls using MIG and Pulse practices

  • Use of jigs and fixtures required for a majority of all day-to-day operations.

  • Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the fulfillment process.

Skills:

Mig, Welding, Blueprint, Fabrication, Fitting, Mig welding

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Blueprint reading and ability to read and interpret weld symbols

  • Ability to perform basic structural weld joints such as T, Lap, Corner to corner, Butt

  • Skilled in MIG and Pulse welding procedures and operations, some TIG

  • Welds are consistently aesthetically acceptable and finished to company expectations

  • Consistently weld to leak-proof standards

  • Open tank, closed tank, and hot oil leakproof testing procedure

Hours:

  • 1st Shift 5 or 6 AM to 3:30 or 4:30

  • 2nd Shift 3 PM to 1:30 AM
