Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Cloud Architect to join our team in the Hanscom, MA.

The Lead Cloud Architect will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, and a

deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and services. As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Cloud One cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security design and

implementation of complex cloud solutions and providing technical guidance to other architects and engineers. The role will also involve leading DevOps teams, overseeing the development of automation tools and processes for continuous integration and deployment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex cloud and cloud infrastructure solutions that meet Government requirements.

  • Develop and implement cloud architecture standards and best practices.

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports the software development life cycle, including continuous integration and deployment

  • Lead the DevOps team to develop automation tools and processes to streamline software development and deployment

  • Ensure that cloud infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure

  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to detect and diagnose issues in the cloud infrastructure and software applications

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other architects and engineers.

  • Evaluate new cloud technologies and common services and make recommendations for their use.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with CSPs and vendors.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture with public cloud providers (certificate preferred) such as AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments, and at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

  • CompTIA Sec+ Certification required.

  • Cloud Architecture experience.

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git

  • Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable, available, and fault tolerant cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

  • Experience leading DevOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes

  • Strong knowledge of network architecture and security principles

  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills environments, and at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified/experienced in all the commercial cloud providers

  • Experience running a large hybrid cloud program

Clearance Requirements:

  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government office environment within the Hanscom, MA area.
