responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on injection molds and report their status to the supervisor.

  • Operate machining tools and equipment for mold maintenance.

  • Repair and test injection molds.

  • Conduct inventory of molding tools and parts and report status to supervisor.

  • Store and maintain validated components, while also managing non-validated components.

  • Maintain stock inventories to ensure proper levels of component parts are available for tooling repair.

  • Document reasons for mold repairs and solutions to prevent future manufacturing interruptions.

  • Follow all procedures and training, maintaining excellent attendance.

  • Advise supervisor of recurring production failures and escalate issues through the proper chain of command.

  • Maintain logs of all molds that have undergone preventive maintenance and control each mold.

  • Maintain machine cleanliness standards.

  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations, as well as company security policies.
