We are currently in search of an effective communicator and a proven Provider Communications Manager at Carelon Behavioral Health. As the incoming Administrative Services Organization (ASO) for Maryland Medicaid, our goal is to positively impact participant outcomes and manage behavioral health services across the State of Maryland.

Responsible for collaborating with health plans and enterprise business partners to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely provider messaging in the support of B2B, enterprise, state-specific, vendor and line of business communications.

Location: Maryland is preferred or neighboring state and will work a hybrid model (remote and office) and must live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point office locations.

How will you make an impact:

  • Supports tracking, development and completion of company initiatives and Government or Commercial business growth projects and initiatives related to provider communications.

  • Supports recommendation of distribution channels to include attainment of appropriate approvals.

  • Supports development of new and innovative programs for standard communication distribution and format.

Minimum requirements:

  • Requires bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in managed healthcare or related industry or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are strongly preferred.

  • Experience in Healthcare, Behavioral Healthcare and Managed Care is highly preferred.

  • Prior experience working with the state of Maryland is preferred.
