Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Instructor/Technical Trainer to support our federal customer in Hanover, MD.

Responsibilities:

Jacobs is seeking an Instructor/Technical Trainer in Hanover, MD. A qualified candidate should have a Law Enforcement/Criminal Investigator in digital forensics as well as extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies. Knowledge of new and emerging information technology (IT) and cybersecurity technologies is strongly desired.

Divergent

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • High school diploma plus 5 years of work experience

  • Law Enforcement/ Criminal Investigator in digital forensics background is required

  • Comprehensive experience developing and executing technical training curriculum

  • Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses

  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities

  • Experience with the DCO training pipeline

  • Experience with digital forensics

  • Experience with malware analysis or reverse engineering

  • Experience with volatile data and it’s extraction

Preferred:

  • Ability to manage and lead a team of instructors through mentorship and providing opportunities for professional growth

  • Ability to be flexible and coordinate with the team on resource shortage and resource allocation based on technical strengths

  • As needed, provide feedback and solutions on process improvements regarding instructor development plan
