MAG Cyber Test Engineer in Hanover, Maryland

Position Summary

MAG IS OFFERING UP TO A 10k SIGN-ON BONUS FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES!

MAG Aerospace is seeking a professional Cyber Test Engineer to join the Project Manager Cyber & Space (PM C&S) team located in Hanover, MD.

This is an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM C&S organization and be a part of the rapidly growing Cyber Infrastructure Product Office responsible for key capabilities within the offensive cyber operations world-wide. PM C&S delivers critical capabilities to counter current and future threats, enabling the next generation of cyber warfighting capabilities. By applying game changing cyber technologies through agile development methodology, we enable battlefield dominance for our Warfighters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Proactively identify and document known and unknown cyber threats.

  • Tracking the status of identified cyber threats throughout the software development cycle.

  • Configure and optimize system dashboards to detect and react to threats.

  • Document recommendations to prevent and respond to cyber threats.

  • Participate in the T&E Working Integrated Product Team (WIPT) and routinely update stakeholders on threat status.

  • Coordinate with Red/Blue team Developmental and Operational testers and support those test events.

  • Review and provide feedback on Contractor, Developmental, and Operational Test Plans and Reports.

  • Coordinate with user community as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with T&E policies and procedures described in DoD 5000 series and Service specific T&E policies.

  • Experience developing and evaluating testing metrics.

  • Experience developing and configuring system dashboards for testing.

  • Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking known and unknown cyber threats.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work on multi-functional teams.

Experience

  • 6 years progressively complex experience in the Testing & Evaluation of software-intensive systems, especially related to tactical C4ISR, EW and Cyber systems.

  • 6 years progressively complex experience in the threat hunting and Security Operations Center (SOC) functions

Clearance

  • Active TS with SCI eligibility.

Education

  • Bachelor’s BA/BS in Business or Technical Field. Four (4) additional years of related experience will substitute for Bachelor's degree.

Desired Requirements

  • Experience developing and configuring JIRA dashboards and building Confluence sites.

  • TS/SCI

Other Qualifications

  • Ability to work in office/field and lab environments.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%
