Job Description

ManTech is currently looking for Cloud Software Engineers to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area . In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data cloud systems based upon documented requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution

  • Modify software and algorithms designed for traditional environments to operate in cloud environments

  • Provide support to platforms and services based on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other commercial cloud hosting environments

  • Provide support to platforms and services running in Kubernetes Orchestration Platform

  • Support the transition of operational systems and applications from traditional platforms to containerized/serverless environments

  • Maintain and integrate software into Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Support operational systems utilizing Kubernetes Orchestration Platform

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Or 4 additional years may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • 5 years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes

  • Perform requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolutionModify software and algorithms designed for traditional environments to operate in cloud environments.

  • Must have experience or knowledge with Kubernetes.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have current/active TS/SCI w Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
