Advanced engineer for JDM/EMS/ODM/component supplier management. It's requested to have solid background for specific component/electronic manufacturing, process engineering and good quality management skill. Lead cross function team to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality system audit and Lean Six Sigma audit and drive continuous improvement

  • Provide professional feedback in source review board meeting in supplier selection assessment

  • SDE SME role in NPI early development in terms of design review, DFX/DFMEA , lesson learned and NUDD study in component/terminal level

  • Assess new process risk and feedback in supplier selection

  • Lead JDM/EMS/ODM/component supplier management covering end to end manufacturing quality management and tier 2 component quality management.

  • Supplier quality scorecard maintenance and drive for supplier continuous improvement with systematic approach. Define/review proactive actions to review process weak points.

  • Sustain quality performance management and drive supplier to solve quality issues from production line and Customer

  • Issue lesson learned and TDM maintenance

  • Lead critical issue triage meeting across global Zebra operation team

  • Drive for CTQ (Critical to Quality)/I4.0 implementation at supplier site to standardize and optimize process through FMEA/Control Plan/MSA/CPK/SPC/Error Proofing

  • Utilize DOE, FMEA and other industry standard tools to proactively identify and address process risks and optimize process parameters

  • Cost saving through lean six sigma projects

  • Initiate business improvement through DMI (Digitization/Modulization/Innovation) methodology

  • Coordinate communication with supplier and internal cross function team for supplier PCN review and approval

  • Have the knowledge of new technology on product roadmap and production

  • As SCT team member or SME, contribute to category management and development from design and quality improvement

  • Coach colleagues on how to effectively develop, communicate, and implement lesson learned

  • Serve as organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar technical fields required; Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Minimum Work Experience(Years)

  • 8-15 years of working experience in manufacturing, process/product design engineering or process engineering roles

  • Strong Problem solving and analytical ability

  • Good English communication in reading and writing

  • Self-motivated and have demonstrated abilities to manage multiple priorities , multi-tasking in cooperative technology environment.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills among supplier and Zebra internal cross functional team

  • Strong computer skills in MS office software

  • Advance statistical application and analytical tool such Minitab, SPSS and JMP, and etc.

  • SME in product/process development and management in electronic manufacturing/specific component industry

  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma, ISO9001, IATF 16949 thorough quality knowledge

  • Certified internal auditor or willing to be trained to be certified internal auditor when necessary

  • Proved experience in applying Lean Six Sigma, Industry 4.0 manufacturing and digital tools in supplier development and process improvement.

  • Licenses/Certificates, special qualifications

  • LSS Green Belt/Black Belt certification is preferred.
