Zebra’s Program Managers are responsible for the successful launch of Zebra’s products and solutions

by indirectly leading cross-functional teams to achieve Zebra’s goals. As a Program Manager, you will

collect, interpret, and deliver feedback and status, hold the core team accountable for deliverables, and

delegate assignments while staying on schedule and budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts independently to generate the project plan for projects of limited to moderate scope.

  • May lead multiple limited scope/small derivative projects simultaneously.

  • Uses established tools, approaches / methodologies, and templates to guide and document the plan and communicate it to the team.

  • Works with key stakeholders to select core team members

  • Establishes & manages timelines and budgets with minimal supervision oversight.

  • Oversees the work of the project team (indirectly supervise) involving members from a wide range of disciplines including engineering, marketing, and operations.

  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring program completion, i.e., product on schedule and within budget constraints. Owns regular meeting coordination, facilitation, and documentation of progress.

  • Gathers status updates from the project team and interprets inputs from the team to assemble a consolidated view of status. Provides regular status updates to senior management as directed. Owns ensuring alignment from key leaders of milestone achievement before moving the program forward.

  • Manages project deliverables with manager oversight. Addresses obstacles minor in nature, escalates more complex issues to senior members of the team for assistance

  • Establishes & manages timelines and budgets with supervision oversight.

  • Demonstrates knowledge and beginning proficiency of PM techniques and familiarity with vocabulary. Regularly demonstrates effective use of that knowledge and proficiency for scheduling and staffing plans considering task duration and dependencies

  • Demonstrates proficiency with some development processes and product launch scope and activities

  • Supervision by management is expected in this position for complex or novel problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, MS preferred

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience and minimum 5 years working experience

  • Ability to present, communicate, and facilitate effectively to peers and managers

  • Experience with MS Office or similar

  • Comfortable delegating and requesting follow-up
