Cisco Product Lifecycle Program Manager in Hanoi, Vietnam

Who You'll Work With:

You will work with the following multi-functional teams: Product Managers, Engineering, Global Manufacturing, Global Supply Managers, Product Operations, Finance, Quality, Contract Manufacturing.

What You Will Do:

The Product Lifecycle Program Manager is the responsible team leader for overall cost, quality and delivery management throughout Cisco product lifecycle from First Customer Shipments to End of Life for Hardware and Software.

You will be responsible for continuously improving the cost, quality, and delivery for Cisco product portfolio. You will manage the following, but not limited to: material change notices, last time buys, end of life, cost strategy, manufacturing change management and sustaining escalations, including line/ship stops.

  • Lead monthly integrated product team meetings for quality and delivery

  • Develop and drive cost strategy to maintain gross margin goals

  • Facilitate quarterly executive cost review with the business unit

  • Partner with global manufacturing to resolve operational issues impacting delivery

  • Engage with quality engineers and manufacturing to maintain six sigma yield goals

  • Enable product end of sale/life strategy with cross functional teams minimizing E&O

  • Working with cross functional teams to resolve sustaining escalations/line stops

  • Own last time buy planning and overall strategy for end of life components

  • Manage material and part change notices (MCN/PCNs) to closure

Who You Are:

Your ability to see the big picture, craft and implement plans, processes and effectively communicate across teams are key to your success. You identify as a strong analytical problem solver with a real passion for identifying solutions and leading change. You’re highly collaborative and have a successful track record engaging with multi-functional teams across multiple geographic theaters. Able to communicate effectively to executive management.

  • BA/BS degree and 10+ years Program &/or Project Management experience

  • Background in Product/Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Cost & Supply Chain Management

  • Excellent executive level communication and influencing skills

  • Deep knowledge of product lifecycle management from first customer shipments to end of life

  • Functional knowledge of product development methodologies

  • Working knowledge and understanding of different manufacturing and fulfillment models (EMS, OEM/ODM/JDM, BTS) Software fulfillment, Country enablement)

  • Experience working in a New Product Introduction (NPI) manufacturing environment

  • Experience with data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau, Smartsheet, etc.) to apply to business problems

  • This candidate works remotely & co-located to Cisco Contract Manufacturer location/facility

  • Flexibility to various time zones is important.

  • Position based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
