We work in partnership with fulfillment and logistics providers to ensure a visible service to our supply chain and smooth delivery services to end users.

What you’ll achieve

As an important part of Dell Supply Chain, Dell Logistics team plays advanced expertise for Dell shipments to worldwide. As a Senior Advisor, Logistics, you will be responsible for Dell shipments from Vietnam to worldwide and working on improvement of on-time-performance and processes . You will work with Worldwide top service providers and Dell internal team s to expedite shipments and do related process improvement. Besides that:

You will:

  • Work in a supply chain cross functional team, rolling out programs relating to Inbound Logistics which should cover:

  • On-boarding & off-boarding of vendors and logistic service providers to Dell logistic programs

  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders (Dell Finance, Planning, Trade Compliance, and Logistics Procurement team) on improvement of logistics planning and initiatives

  • Continuously analyze logistic processes and provide solutions for improvement

  • Work with Dell IT and other internal teams in delivering IT interfaces with vendors and logistic service providers to achieve better visibility and optimization

  • Quality control for Global Inbound Logistics

  • Monitoring and ownership of logistic planning quality

  • Engage with vendors and logistic service providers with regular planning quality issues

  • Internal & external ISO and CSA compliance

  • Ownership of VMI performance KPIs

  • Drive daily operation performance excellence in VMI ops

  • Drive VMI performance KPIs to be on/above Dell's performance target

  • Take ownership of selected cost savings and cycle time reduction programs. Drive suppliers/LSPs performance. Provide logistics analysis for existing or future business models in area of responsibility

  • Provide analysis and produce presentation material for internal and external business reviews. Lead projects where and when required

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years Airfreight logistics working experience with a Bachelor Degree.

  • Solid understanding of export logistics operations and related customs affairs. Strong project management skills as well as demonstrated expertise in problem solving, Logistics planning and time management

  • Good presentation skills and accustomed to regular management and ops review presentations. Strong analytical skills essential

  • Excellent English communication skills, negotiation and organizational skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations quickly

  • Able to travel to ODM/CM location.

Desirable Requirements

  • Outstanding MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel skills)

  • Proven ability to work independently
