Continental Working Student - Backoffice Inbound Supply Chain Management within Group Purchasing (m/f/d) - REF52858L in Hannover, Germany

To support our team at the location Hanover in the field of Inbound Supply Chain Management, we are looking for a working student (m/f/diverse) for a duration of 12 months starting by September and with a working time of 20 hours per week.

Your main tasks will comprise

  • Support EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) central key user team in day to day operations.

  • Support with EDI trainings for suppliers and plants

  • Set-up technical connection of new EDI suppliers

  • Responsible for monthly Power BI report to identify new potential EDI connections

  • Project work, e.g. market screening for alternative EDI tool

  • Support expert team with standard reporting tasks and data analysis on request

  • Present “Tips and Tricks segment” in monthly Raw Material Purchasing call

Additional areas for back office support

  • RMDP (Raw Material Demand Planning) process

  • Stock management

  • Global supply chain set-up and risk management

  • Raw material warehouse management

  • Take up own projects after onboarding and training is completed

  • Students of Business Administration, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Business Information Systems or similar field of study

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel

  • Preferable knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP BW and Power BI

  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken)

  • Analytical mindset with passion for processes and systems

  • Presentation skills
