Required skills and qualifications:

  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Mobility to move about the premises, must be able to sit at the CAD station for extended periods of time.

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate from a technical school / Machine Tool Technology course
  • Two years of work experience may replace education requirement

Typical duties and responsibilities:

  • Use AutoCAD software to create drawing and plans
  • Collaborate with engineer on projects
  • Provide technical support for sales and manufacturing customers
  • Quote customer specific products

Pay:

  • $15-18 per hour, negotiable based on experience
  • Multiple pay raises the first year of employment
