Need 9 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Hancock, MN. From: 02/01/2024 to 12/01/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day Possible overtime hours. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. ESST Law: Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, employees will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year. Must Apply By: 07/03/2024 NOTE: JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; spray and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and repair farm machinery. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, or tools. Employer will provide supplies, equipment and tools at no cost to employee. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum (3) months experience; must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs.; able to perform tasks that require extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, and walking, exposure to extreme temperatures, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense. Employer requires criminal background check post hire at employer's expense due to expensive tools and equipment and the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
