Job Description

To provide key financial data to the UK&I and EMEA management teams by business partnering with the sales and marketing teams in order to provide accurate data in a timely manner.

Role responsibilities:

  • Lead in the delivery of actual, budgets and forecasts processes for a specific business model

  • Have full P&L responsibility by Business Model, reviewed monthly /quarterly and YTD.

  • Reconcile month end results, provide commentary and recommendations.

  • Business Partner with Sales Directors to provide analysis across the business unit to drive cost efficiencies and revenue generation

  • Identifying any controls issues and driving improvements to close any gaps

  • Support Audit/tax compliance activity as required

  • Deputise for CFO as required

Position Requirements:

  • ACA/CIMA Qualified accountant

  • Experience of operating in a matrix structure

  • Operational support experience particularly in a Sales and Marketing environment

  • Considerable experience of the annual reporting and planning cycles, financial controls and systems

  • Good understanding of finance systems (SAP, Oracle)

  • Ability to influence, challenge and support both financial and non-financial managers

  • Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
