What you will do -

As the Process Improvement Lead-Supply Chain, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and integrating new processes and process improvements within the Supply Planning team. You will be the Supply Planning lead on integrations, system changes, and cross-functional projects both within Stryker Canada and Globally with a responsibility to communicate and integrate changes into the Supply Planning team. This role is highly collaborative and connected both with the Supply Planning team, Operations, and Commercial and global business partners. This is a hybrid role. The employee will work onsite at our Hamilton location 2 days per week. Tuesday is a mandatory day each week. This is a 16-month contractual role.

  • Promotes a positive environment with focus on teamwork and the sharing of ideas and knowledge

  • Focus on continuous improvement, product and communication workflow

  • Performs root cause analysis, corrective action and troubleshooting using A3 problem-solving methodologies

  • Participates in and leads the development and execution of continuous improvement both within the department and cross-functionally

  • Participate in the creation and tracking of KPIs and tools to improve team performance

  • Ensures all departmental work instructions/SOP's are updated on time

  • Represent Canada on Global Accelerate Project rollout and execution calls and support other ERP upgrade activities

What you need-

  • University degree required (Business, Supply Chain or related field) -required

  • 4 years of supply chain experience of which 1+ year's experience in process improvement or project management - required

  • Six Sigma experience 'preferred'

  • APICS or other CPP designation 'preferred'

  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of Supply Chain and Operations 'preferred'

  • Ability to successfully drive process improvements and manage/oversee projects -required

  • Highly computer literate, proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications - required

  • Experience with PowerBI/Six Sigma/Oracle 'preferred'
