Aerotek Millwright in Hamilton, Ontario

My client in the food industry is looking for a skilled Millwright to join their team in Hamilton, Ontario

Job Description:

The millwright role is broken into 5 parts:

  • Area calls/ breakdowns

  • PMs/ Overhauls

  • Rebuilds and repairs

  • Fabrications

  • Recording findings/fixes (written and verbal)

The millwrights will be working very closely with production operators, as they will be repairing mostly stainless steel conveyor systems. They will be working on the production lines and doing both mechanical and electrical work throughout the facility.

SHIFT:

Rotating Continental

  • Days: 7am-7pm

  • Nights: 7pm-7am

  • Work 2/4 weekends in a month

  • (3 on, 2 off) (2 on, 3 off) schedule format

  • 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights per month

WAGE:

Base rate: $45.00-$50.00 (based on interview capabilities and overall experience level)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE: 433A millwright license OR 442A or 309A electrician license (DUAL TICKETED would be desired but they would take a fully licensed millwright)

MUST HAVE: 7-10+ overall years of experience as a millwright in a manufacturing/production setting

MUST HAVE: Experience with overhauls, call-out breakdowns, troubleshooting, rebuilds, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and PM's

NI CE TO HAVE

Food/Beverage industry experience

High-speed manufacturing experience

Electrical experience
