Your responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities: Pick and pull material, either finished goods or components, as needed Weigh count material as needed Hand count material as needed Able to obtain a license and operate various forklifts (order filler, stand-up reach, sit down electric, scissor lift) Can properly label material Able to read part number and quantity Can use RF scanner to pick material and confirm TOs Properly stack material for safe transportation Able to load/unload material from trailer Can operate dock leveler and dock lock Demonstrate willingness to do whatever it takes to meet customer requirements: Examples: Work Saturdays on short notice, Work overtime on short notice, etc. Able to operate banding machine Able to operate stretch wrap machine Demonstrate a willingness to move to other workstations to fill company needs. Follows all safety guidelines, required to wear Personal Protective Equipment Your profile Required Qualifications: Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Use of hand tools and equipment . Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
