Schneider Electric USA Inc Manufacturing Production Supervisor in Hamilton, Ohio

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for the Schneider Development Program in Fairfield, Ohio, for a full-time Manufacturing Production Supervisor. This is a Night shift position: Mon - Thurs, Shift time: 6:30 PM to 5:30 AM. You MUST be willing to relocate as this is a 3-year rotational program to different Schneider Electric locations. This rotational development program is designed to give recent graduates a second to none hands on experience working in multiple teams within our manufacturing, distribution center and/or our corporate HUB sites. The Program consists of six different tracks that a talent could be placed into based on interest and education/background.

  • Operations/Engineering
  • Supply Chain
  • Procurement
  • Quality | Customer Satisfaction
  • Safety, Environment and Real Estate (SERE)
  • Data/Business Analytics

Participants in either track will experience a variety of rotations in two or more US Global Supply Chain locations - one year per location. These rotations enable participants to gain a multitude of broad experiences, networking opportunities, leadership and other personalized development as well as unique exposure to local, regional and global teams. Potential rotations in the program include:

  • Manufacturing Engineer
  • Logistics Engineer
  • Supervision
  • Materials Analyst
  • Quality Engineer
  • Customer Delivery Experience
  • Upstream or Downstream Flow Controller
  • Transportation and Logistics

Possible locations include: Franklin, TN Smyrna, TN Lexington, KY Mechanicsburg, PA Columbia, MO Columbia, SC Seneca, SC Oxford, OH El Paso, TX Foxboro, MA Middletown, PA Chino, CA Athens, TX What will you do?

  • Responsible for safety, on-time service, quality, productivity, operator training and flexibility in the group for a variety of customers.
  • Manage assembly operations following the Schneider Performance System (SPS) guidelines through the use of SIM and other lean processes.
  • Motivate the team as well as collaborate on new ideas and activities to eliminate barriers and exceed goals.
  • Drive the Short Interval Management process.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts of the team.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationship across all levels of the organization.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and six sigma skills to address complex process opportunities with simple solutions.
  • Identify constraints to achieving goals and collaborate to find and implement effective solutions.
  • Pro-actively identify barriers and resolve root cause issues.
