Job Description Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk Date: April 2024 Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor Summary American Fan has an opportunity for an Inventory Control Clerk, based in our Fairfield, OH facility. The primary purpose of the role is to ensure efficient inventory control, procurement, and distribution of materials to support manufacturing processes and meet the customers' needs. You will play a vital role in the whole plant's day-to-day operation with your responsibilities. This candidate will need to have excellent communication skills to build relationships both internally and externally among our vendors and customers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Scheduling to assure Manufacturing has material.
  • Pull and merge ERP BOM details into scheduled Picklist.
  • Pull and print shop work orders, pick list and travelers for AF/Industrial/Navy jobs
  • Input each completed pick list into Teams (picker and date)
  • Issue materials from pick lists in ERP.
  • Updating the Production Tracker on Teams
  • Updating the kitting and plant delivery information on Teams
  • Updating WASP with what went to the plant per the truck log.
  • Review daily PEP schedule and all material requirements.
  • Attend and provide updates for Daily PEP meeting items to be reviewed for the day.
  • Identify and trigger Parts Orders for delivery to the plant.
  • Provide Parts order release update to scheduling and shipping.
  • Review new Trigger lists sent by scheduling for completed kits (around 2-3 PM each day)
  • Work closely with Inventory Clerk to assure any discrepancies identified are addressed and shop work orders are released to team.

  • The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and interact with suppliers and customers.
