Electronic Health Records Trainer opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill an Electronic Health Records Trainer position. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Trainer works to develop and deliver training related to the implementation and support for Bitterroot Health information systems. EHR Trainers possess and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and skill in areas of healthcare applications, technology, and/or education as evidenced by experience in providing classroom and/or on-site training in health information systems. They conduct needs and skills assessments for end users to determine the type and duration of training needed, develop training documentation and outlines, and deliver training to end-users with varying levels of computer literacy and in a range of clinical modules/applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Medical field related (Nursing or MA preferred) or experience related to healthcare field.

  • Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: Licensing appropriate for assigned area preferred.

  • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Customer focus required with excellent communication skills. Requires strong analytical, statistical skills and interpretive abilities to analyze data and make recommendations for improvements or changes. Requires the ability to understand concepts related to information system applications, networks, and interfaces. Requires the ability to act independently and complete projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision, professional demeanor and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with system users, physicians, Bitterroot Health leadership, and vendors. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. MS Office expertise required.

  • Experience: Experience implementing and/or supporting an EHR preferred. Cerner EHR experience preferred.

    Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
