Hamilton Community Schools Middle School Lunch Supervisor in Hamilton, Michigan

Hamilton Community Schools is seeking a part-time lunch supervisor paraprofessional to serve five days per week at Hamilton Middle School from 10:00-12:30   Paraprofessionals provide social, physical, and academic support and/or supervision, including but not limited to, the cafeteria and recess. 

*LOCATION:  *Hamilton Middle School

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Possibly assist students with lunch needs.
  • Possibly assist students with social support
  • Assist in managing the behavior of students
  • Keep the building administration informed of any special needs or problems of individual students
  • Maintain confidentiality of information about children and their families in accordance with Board policy and law
  • Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings and special events when requested by administration
  • Help provide supervision and support during the lunch times
  • Follow instructions from teachers and administrators

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, opperate office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25+ pounds.
