The Specialty plant in Hamburg, PA is looking for someone who is hardworking and dedicated to join the team. This position will be responsible for material handling and related operator tasks in the production of packaged cement.
The Production Associate is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career with an industry leader in the cement industry. The cement plant in Sparta, NJ is looking for someone who is hardworking and dedicated to join the team.
Primary responsibilities include.
Operate packing and palletizing equipment
Check and replenish feeders and other mixtures
Manipulate variable hand and foot controls to guide forklift through various movements as necessary to govern the movement of the forklift. Loads and unloads trucks following safe operating procedures.
Handle incoming materials and transport to and from storage and shop areas.
Willingness and ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays based on business demands.
Willingness and ability to work in an industrial manufacturing and outdoor environment throughout the year.
Commitment to quality a must.
Prepare sample and promotional kits for customers and sales force.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Maintain cleanliness of forklift and work area.
Must complete all assigned work in compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
Must be willing to work safely at all times utilizing mandatory personal protective equipment provided by the company.
HERE'S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Ability to read and write English
Basic math calculations may be required
Previous forklift experience, certification a plus
Willing and capable of working extended hours and weekends if needed
Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds on a regular basis
Demonstrated commitment and ability to follow safe working practices in a team environment.
External candidates must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.
