Job Description

We are Safran Helicopter Engines Germany GmbH, a global manufacturer of gas turbine engines and wholly owned subsidiary of Safran Helicopter Engines S.A.S., in Bordes, France. In Hamburg, we provide customer service and marketing to many countries in Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe, as well as Central Asia. The geographical area we serve contains over 300 customers with almost 2,200 engines in total. Our customer portfolio is divided into two large segments: civilian and military.

Our mission: To keep our customers flying!

70 people are contributing on a daily basis to our development and growth at our facility in Hamburg!

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Maintain, develop and anchor global sales / customer support processes and practices to drive a highly professional sales excellence culture

• Define, communicate and maintain global standards for sales methodologies, key account management models, market plans and medium term plans

• Develop innovative sales concepts and tools

• Drive alignment, consistency and excellence through sales & customer support processes and projects

• Develop and implement an effective sales pipeline model and performance tracking process globally to ensure full transparency and proper management of sales successes

• Ensure best practices are shared and sustained across the Sales and Support department

• Steer and consolidate the internal reporting

• Assist our Sales and Support Director to elaborate the strategy and action plan from the five year plan to the yearly update and actions implemented

• Support the Customer Service Managers (CSMs) in strategic planning of sales campaigns

• Drive offers and contract reviews rituals and methods

• Participate as an expert to the sales and contract negotiation process

• Responsible to develop and keep our sales presentation for customers & external stake holders, updated and at the latest standard

Job Requirements

What you bring with you:

• University degree (Bachelor or Master), preferably in economics (e.g. with a focus on business development or sales)

• Extensive experience in negotiation and sales support

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Innovative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Excellent written and spoken English skills, German is desirable

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
