Kuehne+Nagel Inventory Specialist/Analyst - 2nd Shift in Haltom City, Texas

Kuehne+Nagel is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist/Analyst in Haltom City, Texas, who is analytical, organized, and can easily transition throughout the workday from the warehouse floor to a desk or office area. This is a startup site so it requires a great deal of flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to change is a must.

Your Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily activities of inventory control, cycle counting, inventory-related claims management, and related accounts administration. You will work Monday - Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The wage is $26.65 per hour with a weekly pay.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will manage the inventory accuracy to ensure SKU integrity; modify processes when needed to improve

  • Maintain complicated Excel spreadsheets

  • Use Excel to store data and manipulate data and to analyze gaps; create and present reports to key stakeholders

  • Establish inventory movement and accountability process controls

  • Maintain efficient inventory movement throughout the facility to include the putaway, triangulation, and picking function

  • Prepare and present data to explain variances regarding root cause, change management, training opportunities, and other related needs

  • Lead and oversee the execution of daily inventory policies, procedures, analysis and reporting to meet facility inventory metrics

Your Skills and Experiences

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of recent experience in warehousing

  • 1+ years of recent experience gathering and analyzing data and maintaining complex spreadsheets

  • Experience with AS400 or any Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
