General Summary

[Operates basic food processing machines that produce intermediate food products. ]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Operates basic machines to combine raw and processed ingredients into intermediate food products.
  2. Observes machine operation to ensure quality and conformity to company guidelines.
  3. Cleans and sanitizes machines according to company guidelines.
  4. Ensures product date, weight, and temperatures are within established guidelines.
  5. Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.
  6. Follows company safety guidelines, HACCP requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  7. Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

Job Specifications

  1. Experience operating machinery is preferred.
  2. Food industry experience is preferred.
  3. Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood.
  4. English/Spanish bilingual a plus.

Working Conditions

  1. Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.
  2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25F to 110F.
  3. Repetitively lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
  4. Requires walking and standing for long periods of time.
  5. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
